Your home is an important part of your everyday life, and with the right home insurance, you're well covered if something goes wrong. This insurance protects the building itself against damage such as fire, storms, and water damage. Unlike contents insurance, which covers your belongings, home insurance focuses on protecting the property.

If an emergency damage occurs, you can contact us 24/7 by phone 98 98 98 98 or report the damage via “My Account”. We ensure fast processing and give you the freedom to choose your own contractors, making the repair process simple and efficient.

Coverage Overview

Covers damage caused by fire, lightning strikes, explosions, or short circuits in the home's fixed installations and household appliances.

Consequential damage from fire incidents
The insurance also covers consequential damage – for example, water damage resulting from firefighting efforts.

Property coverage
Your property is covered, including the house itself and any additional buildings on the premises (as specified in your policy). This also includes greenhouses (excluding glass), flagpoles, in-ground swimming pools, etc.

You are covered for damage resulting from theft, vandalism, storms, cloudbursts, thaw, burst pipes due to frost, and other sudden incidents.

Liability coverage
The insurance includes liability coverage if you, as the homeowner – or user of the property – are held liable for damages to others or their belongings.

Legal expenses coverage
You are also covered for legal expenses related to private legal disputes through the legal expenses insurance.

Covers damage to the house caused by attacks from wood-destroying fungi or insects that have damaged the wood or weakened its load-bearing capacity.

Covers hidden structural components that you have not had the opportunity to inspect or maintain.

Covers repair and costs for locating leaks in hidden water, heating, gas, oil, and drainage pipes, as well as electrical and heating cables within the building.

Covers damage to external underground service lines – including water, heating, gas, oil, and drainage pipes, as well as electrical and heating cables – for which you are responsible for maintenance, and which connect the building to the main line in the street.

Covers damage resulting from theft, vandalism, and impact to garden installations, as well as damage caused by pests such as rats, mice, and martens. The coverage also includes mechanical malfunctions in fixed electrical installations and building materials intended for renovation.

In addition, cosmetic differences are covered – you will be reimbursed for 60% of the costs for repairs such as color discrepancies in the bathroom floor following a covered pipe damage.

Covers damage to windows and doors, conservatories and sunrooms, cladding on residential buildings, as well as load-bearing structures in garages, carports, and outbuildings.

Covers damage if water enters the house due to causes other than cloudbursts or thaw, such as rising groundwater or sewage water in the basement.

In addition, extended water damage also covers damage caused by drifting snow from attics, as well as water loss related to a covered claim under the pipe and service line coverage.
